Otoplasty

The Procedure
Dr. Gayner performs Otoplasty in his office (adults) or in the Operating suite located within his office building. With incisions made behind the ear, he removes skin and cartilage to achieve the desired effect. Sutures are used inside the ear to create and secure newly shaped cartilage.
Recovery and Results
A soft dressing will be applied to the ears for two days. During this recovery period, there is only mild discomfort. Otoplasty is a highly satisfying procedure for both surgeon and patient because of the immediate, long-lasting results.
